Module updates & reprogramming.
Some vehicle concerns have a manufacturer software update or a technical service bulletin (TSB) that calls for reprogramming an existing module. We check the vehicle and bulletin details, then confirm whether an update applies before starting work.
Engine, transmission, body and other supported control modules may be eligible. A TSB identifies a possible repair procedure; it does not guarantee that a software update will fix every concern.

Can you program a used replacement module?
We can program and match compatible new or used modules. Compatibility depends on the vehicle and module, so contact us with the year, make, model and module details before buying a replacement.
Do I need to bring the vehicle to the shop?
Our services are provided at our Riverside shop. Tell us which vehicle and module you need help with so we can confirm what must be brought in before you make the trip.
What information should I have ready?
Start with your vehicle’s year, make, model and the service you need. Have the VIN and any replacement module details available for our follow-up. For key work, ask us what ownership documentation and existing keys to bring.
How much does programming cost, and how long does it take?
